We are seeking a Product Lead, Integrations to own how PaceMateLIVE connects to everything around it: electronic medical records, device manufacturer data feeds, third-party services, and the integrations that live inside our own platform.

This is technically difficult data integration work, and that is the appeal of the job. The data behind cardiac remote monitoring is genuinely hard to move well: proprietary device feeds, EMR implementations that differ from site to site, and clinical information that has to arrive complete, correct, and on time. The work is figuring out how that data should be structured, specified, and productized, not coordinating it.

What interests us most is whether you have done hard integration work and owned it as a product, meaning the data model, the edge cases, the documentation, and the standard other teams build against, rather than delivering it as a one-off project. Integrations with enterprise systems of record like Oracle, NetSuite, or Salesforce are a good illustration of the kind of difficulty we mean, but they are an illustration, not a requirement.

This is a technical product role. You will spend your time in data structures, feed specifications, API contracts, and failure modes, close enough to the detail to know whether an integration actually works, and close enough to the data to know how it gets captured and what can be built on top of it.

AI fluency is core to how the work gets done: this role uses AI tools daily for prototyping, research synthesis, and drafting specs and release materials, and carries ongoing ownership of AI prompts and data-capture patterns within the integrations domain.

What this role owns
The EMR integration standard. You own the documentation and the standard for how PaceMateLIVE integrates with EMR systems. Our Implementation team continues to deliver customer integrations; you own the specification they deliver against, and you are accountable for it being current, complete, and correct.
Device manufacturer and vendor data feeds. You own our integrations with manufacturer and vendor data sources, including recognizing when a feed we already receive is richer than the way we currently consume it, and unlocking what’s in it. This is as much about getting more out of existing integrations as it is about adding new ones.
On-platform and third-party service integrations. The integrations users experience inside PaceMateLIVE, across current and future offerings: automated calling and text, messaging, chat and other communication interfaces, scheduling, and the embedded services that come next.

Essential functions & responsibilities

• Own the integrations product area end-to-end: discovery, requirements, prioritization, delivery, and post-launch iteration.
• Own and maintain the documentation and technical standard for EMR integrations; partner with Implementation, who delivers against that standard.
• Specify integrations at the level of data models, field mappings, feed structures, API contracts, error handling, and failure modes, not just outcomes.
• Evaluate existing data feeds for unrealized capability and build the case and the requirements for exploiting them.
• Provide the technical assessment that informs third-party and vendor integration evaluations, in partnership with the decision-makers on those choices.
• Translate customer, clinical, implementation, and engineering input into build-ready requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Define success metrics at discovery and evaluate whether releases achieved them post-launch.
• Scope toward integrations and manufacturer APIs that do not yet exist, so the platform is positioned when they arrive.
• Own AI prompt and data-capture patterns within the integrations domain, in partnership with our AI team.
• Collaborate daily with engineering as an embedded partner.
• Use AI tools to prototype, synthesize research, and draft specs, PRDs, and release materials.
• Convert engineering deliverables into release notes and flag training and marketing follow-up.
• Maintain a high-level understanding of PaceMate products and services.
• Maintain appropriate levels of current knowledge and the ability to comprehend and apply policies.
• Follow practices of PaceMate Mission, Vision, and Customer Service standards.
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct and all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Analyze, access, input, and retrieve data.
• Report pertinent information and assist with tasks to support department operations toward achieving organizational goals.

What stands out to us

• Integration work that was genuinely difficult: high-volume or near-real-time data feeds, proprietary or poorly documented formats, systems of record, or integrations where completeness and correctness mattered more than speed.
• Having owned an integration as a product: its data model, its specification, its documentation, and the standard other teams built against.
• Experience productizing an integration platform, connector framework, or partner API program.
• Experience evaluating and integrating third-party services into an existing product surface.
• Healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) or EMR/EHR integration experience, and familiarity with HIPAA. Useful, but not expected. We are more interested in integration difficulty than industry background, and we actively welcome candidates whose integration experience comes from outside healthcare.
• Experience building or testing customer engagement or clinical workflow platforms.

Education, training, and experience
Required

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience.
• 3–5 years in product management, technical program management, solutions architecture, integration engineering, or a comparable role, with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a feature, integration, or product area.
• Comfort working close to technical detail: able to read an API specification or a data feed schema and reason about what it does and does not support, and to hold your own in a design conversation with engineers.
• Experience producing technical documentation that other people worked from.
• Current, hands-on use of AI tools within a product workflow, with a work sample to show (prototype, spec, or research synthesis).
• Experience defining and evaluating product success metrics post-launch.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, implementation, and go-to-market teams in a remote or virtual setting.
• Strong written communication skills, with a track record of clear product documentation.

Physical requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be consistently required to remain in a stationary position working at a computer, constantly operate a computer and other office equipment, and frequently communicate with customers and employees via voice and video.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information, with the ability to effectively utilize voice over internet protocol; and repetitive motions using fingers and forearms in data entry.
