Product Development Intern (Apparel & Accessories)

A growing fashion and accessories brand in Hoboken, NJ, known for its licensed apparel partnerships, is looking for a Product Development Intern. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn product development end-to-end - from trend research and sketch review through sampling, sourcing, and vendor communication.
 

What you'll do:

• Get exposure to product development across both apparel and accessories categories
• Track and organize incoming samples by stage (including PP and TOP)
• Support trend forecasting and seasonal concept development
• Assist with tech pack prep and early-stage vendor conversations, including overseas partners
• Review artwork placement, garment construction, and swatch/trim references
• Help build presentations, mood boards, and line assortments
• Log timelines and sample status in Asana and Excel-based trackers
• Work cross-functionally with Design, Technical Design, Production, Marketing, and Licensing

What you'll bring:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion, Technical Design, or a related field
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD (coursework counts)
• A genuine interest in fashion, trend, and how products actually get made
• 1 year of experience in apparel/accessories product development and sourcing
• Strong organization, communication, and a "figure it out" attitude

Pay: $18-$20/hour
