What You'll Do

As a Product Design Engineer, you will:

Design and develop innovative mechanical products, components, and assemblies that meet customer requirements and business objectives.
Create detailed product specifications focused on fit, form, and function.
Partner closely with manufacturing, materials, quality, and operations teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to define new product requirements and technical solutions.
Conduct engineering analysis, testing, and validation activities to optimize product performance and reliability.
Apply Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Evaluate materials, manufacturing methods, and component designs to drive continuous improvement.
Support product quality initiatives and resolve technical challenges throughout the product lifecycle.
Document engineering designs, specifications, and development activities.

Qualifications: What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
2-4 years of product design, mechanical engineering, or new product development experience.
Strong proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software.
Understanding of engineering fundamentals including strength of materials, material selection, and mechanical design.
Experience with design validation, testing, and engineering problem solving.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with industrial products, instrumentation, sensors, or engineered components.
Working knowledge of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software and stress analysis techniques.
Experience with D/PFMEA and risk-based design methodologies.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, machining, fabrication, and assembly operations.
Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
