Product Consultant (Contract)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Consultant (Contract) based in United States.

This is a high-impact, fixed-term opportunity for a senior product professional who can quickly assess a complex product organization and contribute from day one. You will help strengthen product delivery capabilities across cash management and liquidity solutions while shaping a new AI-native approach to product design. A key focus will be establishing a Rapid Product Design (RPD) team, including its operating model, roles, tooling, workflows, and delivery methodology. You will work closely with Product and Engineering leadership and collaborate with a parallel engineering delivery team to align AI-driven practices across functions. The role combines strategic advisory work with hands-on implementation, requiring strong product judgment, fintech or enterprise SaaS expertise, and practical experience with AI-enabled product development. It is well suited to an experienced product leader who enjoys working independently, moving quickly, and building new capabilities within a globally distributed organization.

Accountabilities:

• Conduct a structured assessment of the existing product organization, architecture, processes, and ways of working, identifying opportunities where AI can accelerate delivery, reduce friction, and create new capabilities.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product portfolio, organizational workflows, strategic priorities, and opportunities for rapid product delivery.
• Design and establish a Rapid Product Design (RPD) team within the Product organization, defining its operating model, roles, tooling, workflows, and delivery methodology.
• Develop an AI-native product operating model that integrates AI tools and approaches throughout the product lifecycle.
• Partner with Engineering leadership to align Product RPD and Engineering RAD teams around shared AI principles, workflows, methodologies, and delivery cadences.
• Champion practical adoption of AI tools, methodologies, and ways of thinking across the RPD team and broader Product organization.
• Help establish an AI-driven product design approach that can serve as a repeatable blueprint for future product development.
• Provide strategic guidance on emerging AI practices and their application to product development and delivery.
• Transfer knowledge and build lasting internal capabilities around AI-enabled product practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure rapid delivery approaches are aligned with business and customer priorities.
• Contribute hands-on expertise to strengthen delivery capabilities within the cash management and liquidity product area.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior Product Manager, Product Leader, or similar product professional within fintech, treasury, enterprise SaaS, or a closely related environment.
• Demonstrated experience building or operating within fast-paced, cross-functional delivery organizations, including RPD, RAD, Agile, or comparable models.
• Practical experience using AI tools in a product environment, with a clear perspective on how AI is changing product design, development, and delivery.
• Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity, treasury, or related financial technology products is highly desirable.
• Ability to quickly understand complex organizations, identify opportunities, and deliver meaningful results with limited ramp-up time.
• Strong strategic thinking and product judgment, combined with a willingness to take a hands-on approach to implementation.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and knowledge-transfer skills.
• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and make effective decisions within a complex, matrixed organization.
• Comfortable collaborating remotely with globally distributed teams across functions and time zones.
• Strong interest in emerging technologies, continuous improvement, and new approaches to software product development.
