Processing Team Member (Trussville)

Position Reports to: Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager

Position Description:

The VTS Processing team member will efficiently process donated goods into priced and sellable merchandise.

     4. Be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted

Time Requirements: 

This position will require between 16-30 hours per week depending on need and availability.

Position Duties:

The VTS Processing team member will efficiently process donated goods into priced, sellable merchandise.

• Excellent Customer Service
• • Ensure excellent customer/donor experience for all customers
  • Effectively share Vapor mission with customers

• Donation Sorting
• • Inspect each item that is donated for quality
  • Adhere to the departmental sorting systems
  • Establish proper set-up of the donation/processing systems

• Accurate Pricing
• • Demonstrate thorough product knowledge
  • Perform quality evaluation and control
  • Utilize pricing guide effectively

• Maintain Work Space
• • Ensure a properly organized workspace
  • Ensure a clean workspace at the closing
  • Assist the Retail Team with the opening and closing checklists

• Cultural Development
• • Actively participate in Holistic Development Plan (HDP)
  • Participate in One-on-One process
  • Attend daily Huddle
  • Understand and adhere to Vapor Ministries’ preferred culture
