What Does a Processing Team Member Do Anyway?
- Sort donated items and identify great finds
- Help identify recyclable items. Even if we can't sell it, we keep it out of the landfill
- Get those great finds sales floor ready
- Load and unload carts to get merchandise out safely and efficiently

Whether we are hanging the perfect jeans (thrifting one pair of jeans saves the world 1,800 gallons of water ya know!) or separating out recyclable materials, we combine our passion for customers and community service.

It starts with a donation network of over 2,300 locations, including community donation centers, store donation centers, & free home pickups. We take donations of gently used clothing and other household items, sell them in our stores at an affordable price, & contribute a portion of our profits to our 6 different charity partners. Our goal is to donate $100 million to our charity partners in 10 years.

We refresh each of our stores with over 10,000 unique items every single day, which is where we got the tagline “Where it’s a new store every day.” It’s because it’s true!
