CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Process Technician III.

Education: Associate's degree (AS/AAS) in an applicable field

Description

The Process Technician III will support and promote contamination control at the Fairport, NY plant. This role monitors clean spaces, supports production efforts to prevent and reduce contamination, identifies continuous improvement opportunities, and maintains contamination control documentation and equipment.

Requirements:

• Perform scheduled contamination sampling, including airborne and surface particulates, organic/inorganic contamination, and ultrapure water contamination
• Inspect, clean, test, and monitor contamination control equipment, including ionizing guns/bars and ultrasonic/megasonic units
• Certify clean benches, clean enclosures, and other designated clean spaces as needed
• Maintain contamination control documentation, records, and reports; coordinate required instrumentation calibration
• Support clean rooms and clean spaces, including garment supply/rotation and protocol audits
• Identify and communicate non-conforming activities or conditions to the Contamination Control Engineer
• Follow documented procedures, work instructions, and contamination control protocols with accuracy and consistency

Qualifications
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to collect, interpret, and graph data
• Fundamental knowledge of electronic equipment and general troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail, observation, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, dependable team player who consistently follows procedures and maintains a positive, can-do attitude

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with cleanroom protocols, particularly in semiconductor manufacturing
• Experience monitoring manufacturing or technical processes
