About the Process Engineer Internship:

Gain hands-on experience in the steel manufacturing industry while building skills in continuous improvement, quality systems, and operational excellence. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve real-world challenges and improve manufacturing processes.

Program Structure:

• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Start Date: May 2027
• Duration: Summer internship

What we're looking for:

• Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Engineering or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Ability to succeed in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.               

Preferred experience:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• AutoCAD experience.       

What you'll focus on:

• Support rolling mill projects focused on improving production, quality, and maintenance processes.
• Drive continuous improvement through data collection, process trials, analysis, and standardization.
• Collaborate with team members while taking ownership of self-led improvement projects.
