JOB OPENING - PRN REGISTERED NURSE

POSITION SUMMARY: Watermark Health is looking to add PRN staff members to the team to support and offer leadership at the various charitable Watermark Urgent Care clinics across DFW. The role will be to function as an Registered Nurse (RN) in patient care and lead the daily clinical and ministry operations.

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
LOCATION: Urgent Care Clinics – Cross-Clinic
TIME REQUIREMENT: Hourly, No Benefits

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE:

• RN license with minimum 1-year work experience
• Minimum 24 Hours per month (64 hours per month maximum)
• Periodic required and paid team meetings
• Able to oversee volunteers as a nurse, with minimal full-time staff support
• Active member in good standing of a local church, like minded to Watermark Community Church
• Aligned with and passionate about the mission/vision/values of Watermark Health

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations/Patient Care

• Help with clinic flow and assist volunteers in Front Desk, RN/tech, and Pastoral Care roles
• Help with triage, registration, intake, assessment, medication administration, discharge teaching, & pastoral care
• Assist with open and close clinic procedures

Volunteer Mgmt. & Leadership

• Provide spiritual leadership for patient interactions, coach volunteers in patient encounters
• Provide spiritual leadership for volunteer interactions, encouraging as needed

• Experienced RN, ideally with Urgent Care or ED experience
• Comfortable sharing the Gospel
• Experienced in leading in a ministry setting
• A team player, contributor to a growing ministry

CHURCH MEMBERSHIP

Because the local church is at the core of our mission, it's crucial for our staff team to model the value of church membership in the same ways we would call our volunteers to membership and invite our patients into membership. As this is such a high value, we show that we care by having consistent check-ins with our staff team's spiritual health and require employees to be active members at a local church. The specific church membership requirement is shown above on this job description.
