Job Description
Compassionate, proactive, and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our PRN clinical team.
Arbor Place is a physician-designed residential memory care community serving just 16 residents. Our small size allows nurses here to provide personalized, relationship-centered care while working closely with caregivers, physicians, and families.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents and monitor changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Document resident care and clinical observations.
- Respond to resident needs and changes in condition.
- Assist with hands-on resident care as needed to support the care team.
- Assist with admissions, physician orders, and care plan updates.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Maryland RN or LPN license in good standing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience in memory care, assisted living, long-term care, hospice, or geriatrics preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.

Founded by a geriatric psychiatrist, and purpose-built for dementia care, Arbor Place sits on beautifully landscaped acreage adjacent to protected green space. Unlike many assisted living facilities with locked memory care units that don’t allow residents to get outside, at Arbor Place the entire building and grounds are secure yet accessible.
By architectural design, our intimate home creates a safe and interactive experience. In the bright central living room residents participate in different activities from singing, art, and interactive games along with socialization and companionship to support changing needs throughout the day. Each of our 16 residents has a private room.

From bathing, incontinence support, dressing, and assistance with dining to warm friendly companionship, our team ensures we meet each of our resident’s individual wishes and needs. And, unlike most other memory care facilities, we provide aging in place with dignity as the disease progresses, including gentle palliative care and on-site hospice through end of life.

At Arbor Place, we are 100% dedicated to dementia and possess deep experience with many neurodegenerative disease processes including Alzeheimer’s, Parkinsons and other challenges with dementia. We know how to support these with a care first, behavioral-focused approach.
TRANSPARENT RATES
At Arbor Place, you’ll pay one rate which covers housing, furniture, meals and snacks, nursing support, and ALL care. We’ll never ask you to hire additional staff and we won’t charge you more for things like increased medication administration, dining help, dress or bathing, or incontinence assistance.
