PRN: Dietary Aide

Job Details: Job Location: Sunshine Meadows - Buhler, KS, Salary Range: Undisclosed, The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in ensuring residents receive nutritious, delicious meals in a clean and welcoming environment. This team member supports the kitchen by assisting with meal preparation, serving food, cleaning, and maintaining proper sanitation standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

Assist with preparing and serving meals to residents according to dietary guidelines and menu specifications
Set up dining areas and deliver trays or meals to residents as needed
Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment; maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
Follow food safety and infection control procedures
Ensure all food items are properly labeled and stored
Provide excellent customer service and foster positive relationships with residents
Support the dietary team in daily kitchen operations and tasks as assigned
Report any resident concerns or dietary issues to the supervisor promptly
Meet PRN Hours requirement

Dietary Aide Qualifications: Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting is a plus, but not required
Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
