Cranbrook Schools is seeking part-time Private Music Teachers to teach Bassoon lessons at various grade levels. Instructors focus on scales, arpeggios, etudes, solo, and chamber music literature. Families will contact the instructor to request lessons, sign a contract, and schedule a mutually convenient time for the student and instructor.

Note: This is not a full-time or consistent part-time position; lessons are by appointment only and instructors are paid bi-weekly for lessons taught. Pay rate is $35 per 30-minute lesson.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Successful experience teaching students is required.
• Extensive personal accomplishments in performance are preferred.
