In-Home Caregiver | Part-Time

Location: Stillwater, MN
Current Schedule: Monday & Wednesday, 11:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: $23–$25/hour

English Rose Home Care is currently hiring a caregiver for a client in Stillwater, MN. This position currently includes Monday and Wednesday shifts from 11:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Additional hours will become available over time with this client or other English Rose Home Care clients, including opportunities in the St. Paul area and other Twin Cities locations, based on your availability, location, and client needs.

Because we serve Home Care clients throughout the Twin Cities with different schedules and care needs, we work to thoughtfully match caregivers with opportunities that fit their availability, location, and experience.

English Rose Home Care provides personalized, one-on-one care in clients' private residences for people living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other complex medical conditions. Our Home Care team is led by a Registered Nurse (RN), who provides clinical oversight and support to our caregivers.

We're looking for a compassionate, dependable caregiver who is comfortable working independently and providing thoughtful, individualized care.

Please note: Required paid training is completed in person at our English Rose Training Center in Hopkins, MN. Applicants must be able to reliably travel to both Stillwater and Hopkins.

What You'll Do

Depending on the client's individualized care plan, your day may include:

• Providing companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Helping with mobility and transfers
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating
• Providing medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing transportation or assistance with errands
• Following individualized care plans and documenting care accurately
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition

What We're Looking For

• Previous one-on-one caregiving or home care experience preferred
• Experience supporting people with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, hospice, or other complex care needs is a plus
• Comfortable working independently and following detailed care instructions
• Strong communication and engagement skills
• Comfortable providing personal care to both female and male clients
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Fluent in English with strong written documentation skills

We welcome both experienced caregivers and those who are newer to professional caregiving and ready to learn.

Training & Support

Caregivers receive paid, in-person training with our experienced team at our Training Center in Hopkins, MN, along with hands-on, client-specific training in the client's home.

Our RN-led Home Care team provides ongoing clinical oversight and support so caregivers have the information and guidance they need to provide confident, high-quality care.
