Job Description
$20–$30/hr | Part-Time | Flexible Schedule
We run perschool basketball programs for kids ages 3-5 rec centers across Fairfax County, Loudoun, Arlington, and Herndon. We need a basketball coach who loves the game and loves teaching young kids even more.
You'll run your own class. We give you the curriculum — you bring the energy and execution.
What you'll do:
• Lead after-school and weekend basketball classes at local schools and rec centers
• Deliver OTA curriculum for assigned age group (we train you on it)
• Run drills, small-sided games, and skill progressions
• Manage your class independently — setup, instruction, dismissal
• Ensure every kid is safely dismissed before leaving
What we're looking for:
• Basketball background — played, coached, or trained at any level
• Experience working with preschoolers
• Ability to adjust on the fly for different ages and skill levels
• Reliable, punctual, professional
• Must pass background check + fingerprinting
• Reliable transportation to assigned sites
Pay & Schedule:
• $20–$25/hr to start based on experience
• Up to $30/hr for returning, experienced coaches
• 1–4 days/week depending on your availability
• Weekday afternoons and/or weekends

Over the past 13 years we have built, grown and managed 14 offices nationwide, working with more than 500 elementary schools and 25,000 children annually. Overtime Athletics is now franchising our concept. The franchisee is purchasing a protected territory that includes 100 public elementary schools. The franchise fee covers all of the tools, training and support you will need to fully learn and begin to implement the Overtime Athletics model. This includes class management tools, sales management tools, instructor training website, and a private Intranet system for collaboration and references. As a franchisee, you enjoy name-brand recognition and a network of support provides an immediate and distinct competitive edge over the independent, stand-alone business.
