Position Summary: 

Provide essential support to the culinary team through efficient food preparation, organization, and maintenance of cleanliness standards, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and high-quality execution. 

Responsibilities: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: 

Consistently support the culinary team in exceeding Member expectations  

Prepare ingredients according to recipes, prep lists, and chef instructions  

Wash, peel, cut, and portion food items accurately and efficiently  

Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO standards)  

Follow all sanitation and food safety guidelines  

Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout shifts  

Assist line cooks and chefs with basic cooking tasks as needed  

Maintain a positive, cooperative attitude with coworkers and management  

Adapt to changing prep needs, special requests, and event requirements 

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred  

Ability to follow recipes, prep sheets, and production lists  

Basic knife skills and understanding of kitchen equipment  

Ability to maintain par levels of prepped ingredients  

Strong organizational and time management skills  

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment  

Willingness to learn and take direction from chefs and supervisors  

Flexibility with schedule, including weekends and holidays  

Country club or high-volume kitchen experience is a plus
