Post Merger Operations & Integration Leader

Robbins Recruiting has partnered with a leader in the commercial building services industry to help identify a Post Merger Integration Leader to own the end-to-end integration of every new company acquisition — from the week of close through stabilization — and to continuously improve our integration playbook so each deal gets faster, cleaner, and more value-accretive than the last.

About the role:
Unify Operations, Add Capacity for Growth, Build & Train the Team, and financial integration. Each acquisition runs on a structured project plan, with governance cadence up to the CEO and PE sponsor. This hire creates dedicated integration capacity so the Company can close and integrate multiple acquisitions simultaneously without execution risk.

Responsibilities:
– Operational Value Creation. Most importantly, you will be a partner on the ground with the management team leading the implementation of strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability. You are the right hand to the management team at each acquisition.
– Integration Ownership. Own the end-to-end post-close integration for each new acquisition: stand up the integration project board (Monday.com), run the weekly management cadence, and drive all four workstreams (operations, team/capacity, technology, and finance) from close through stabilization.
– Playbook Execution & Refinement. Execute Growth & Integration Playbook at each acquisition. After each integration, update the playbook with lessons learned to shorten timelines, reduce friction, and improve EBITDA outcomes for future deals.
– Operations Unification. Lead the consolidation of dispatching, scheduling, customer data, and service delivery into standard operating model. Work directly with acquired company leadership to sequence change management without disrupting revenue.
– Technology Onboarding - stage the rollout, migrate data, and bring the new company onto the unified platform.
– Financial Integration. Coordinate the accounting system migration banking transition, AP/AR consolidation, and financial reporting standardization in partnership with the CFO. Ensure acquired entities are on financial infrastructure within 90 days of close.
– HR, Payroll & Benefits. Manage the HR integration workstream: payroll transition, benefits enrollment, HR policy alignment, and org structure design. Partner with HR and external vendors to hit payroll and benefits deadlines without disruption to acquired employees.
– Stakeholder Reporting. Produce weekly integration status reporting for the CEO and PE sponsor, using Monday.com as the system of record. Flag overdue items, escalate blockers, and drive decisions through the right channels.
– Pipeline Readiness. Work with the VP Strategic Operations and M&A counsel to build integration readiness materials pre-close 

Qualifications:
– 4–8 years of industry experience in implementing systems and processes
– Demonstrated experience owning integration workstreams across multiple functional areas simultaneously (operations, finance, HR, technology).
– Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage a 60–90 task integration plan across 10+ stakeholders and hold people to dates.
– Comfort navigating ambiguity at acquired companies: every deal is different, and this role requires the judgment to adapt the playbook without losing the discipline behind it.
– Strong change management instincts: acquired company employees and leaders need to trust you quickly, even as you are changing how they work.
– Willingness to travel (70%+) to acquired company locations in the first 3-6 months post-close.

Preferred:
– Experience working with PE sponsors and PE-level reporting cadences — you understand what a board wants to see and communicate accordingly.
– Working knowledge of financial integration (accounting system migrations, AP/AR consolidation, banking transitions) and HR/payroll transitions.
– Experience building and refining M&A integration playbooks, not just executing them.
– Background in buy-and-build acquisition strategies with 3+ integrations under your belt.
– Exposure to Monday.com or similar project management tools for integration tracking.
