Clean Scapes is seeking a dependable Porter to support a commercial property. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, presentable grounds and assisting with hand-watering at additional properties.
ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES
Pick up trash and debris throughout the property
Maintain clean and presentable outdoor areas
Perform hand-watering duties as assigned
Report directly to the assigned job site
Complete other basic landscape-maintenance tasks as needed
SCHEDULE:
Part-time: 6:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m., five days per week, including Saturday and Sunday
EXPERIENCE
Previous porter, groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor-maintenance experience preferred
Hand-watering or basic plant-care experience is a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, + ABILITIES
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Reliable transportation
Dependable and comfortable working outdoors
Ability to work independently

With our decades-long experience, we bring out the full beauty and creativity of a landscape’s design while providing attention to each detail. We are trusted to accommodate landscape projects of any size and can provide a multi-million dollar bonding capacity. More importantly, we are committed to the safety and well-being of all by adhering to a comprehensive safety program, reinforced by regular meetings, full training for new employees, and requirements that each crew member be outfitted with needed safety equipment.
As we endeavor to be the best guardian of each landscape, we know the importance of being vigilant environmental stewards. With this in mind, we source materials locally and use native plants to reduce irrigation needs. These practices are incorporated into our many LEED registered projects. Additionally, we are Green Garden Certified with the City of Austin to promote sustainable and environmentally-sound landscape practices. Furthering our commitment to the environment, we are stakeholders in the Central Texas Clean Cities Coalition. As such, we have converted our large mowers from gasoline-powered to propane-powered to reduce emissions and improve local air quality.
