Windstar Cruises is looking for a motivated Port Operations Intern to join our Marine Operations team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the daily workings of a global cruise line, with the intern working directly alongside the Port Operations team and collaborating with colleagues across various departments. The intern will help maintain and improve port information across Windstar's global network of destinations and will support the migration of port booking and budgeting data to MXP.

This is a strong opportunity to build a working knowledge of port and marine operations, gain exposure to enterprise operational systems, and contribute to real projects that support Windstar's fleet worldwide.

This internship will be based in Windstar Cruises' Corporate Offices in Doral, FL.

Responsibilities

• What You'll Do:

  • Support day-to-day port operations activities across a global network of destinations.
  • Help maintain and update port information, documentation, and administrative records.
  • Assist with the transfer and validation of port booking and budgeting data into MXP.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Windstar port agents in multiple regions worldwide.
  • Support the review of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for Windstar port agent services.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve port operational processes.
  • Gain cross-departmental exposure to marine, safety, environmental, security, and public health functions.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas as part of a collaborative, fast-paced operations team.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Copilot.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Genuine interest in the cruise, maritime, or travel industry.
