PMO Director

Overview

This role serves as the dedicated leader responsible exclusively for OR PM delivery across the Google Data Center portfolio. The PMO Lead establishes and scales a centralized PMO focused solely on OR PM execution, governance, and delivery performance. This role ensures consistent execution across all OR PM workstreams while driving the transition from staff augmentation to a scalable, outcome-based managed service model.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a centralized PMO governing OR PM delivery across all Google Data Center programs
• Own end-to-end OR PM delivery performance across YAWN, MARCUS, and NICON workstreams
• Design and enforce governance frameworks tailored to OR PM execution (cadence, KPIs, risk management, escalation paths)
• Provide oversight across all OR PMs supporting data center construction, infrastructure, and retrofit programs
• Drive delivery consistency across multi-site environments aligned to Google standards
• Lead transformation from SOW-based staffing to PMO-led managed service delivery model
• Develop scalable operating model including roles, team structures, and governance ratios
• Act as an escalation point for all OR PM delivery issues

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in program, portfolio, or delivery leadership within data center construction or infrastructure environments
• Strong experience leading OR PM or Owner’s Rep delivery organizations
• Proven success building and scaling PMOs focused on execution and delivery performance
• Deep understanding of Google or hyperscaler data center construction lifecycle preferred
• Strong executive stakeholder management and communication skills
