Caregiver for The Chateau of Long Beach (Full-Time)
*$500 Sign On Bonus, Conditions Apply* - We are willing to train, no experience required!
Schedule Needed:
PM Shifts: 2pm-1030pm and NOC Shifts: 10pm-630am0 (Tues-Sat)
The Chateau of Long Beach is an assisted living facility for the elderly community (ages 59+) located in Long Beach, CA. We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers who have the passion to help the elderly and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Qualifications (non-negotiable):
- Able to pass DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
- Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in caregiving and medical administration preferred
- Full-Time and Part-Time positions available in various shifts
Job Description:
- Assists with daily assignments, ensuring completion in assistance with resident Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
- Progressive documentation and communication with physician and /or medical professional.
- Scheduling of resident doctor’s appointments.
- Ensure that residents stay stress-free as much as possible by working with medical professionals in regards to reducing of pain while promoting engagement and independence.
- Maintains good composure during emergencies and maintains a safe work environment
- Communicates clearly, calmly and effectively with residents, families and Wellness Coordinator with any changes or resident concerns
- Complete any outstanding paperwork for the day including filing, logging medication and centrally stored record
- Additional duties as assigned by Administration
