PLM Implementation Engineer I

About the role

As a PLM Implementation Engineer I, you’ll support the execution of PTC Windchill implementations while continuing to build your PLM technical expertise. You’ll apply previous hands-on PLM and Windchill experience to system configuration, deployments, data migration, testing, and customer solutions while working alongside experienced engineers.

This role is ideal for someone with foundational Windchill implementation experience who is ready to expand their technical capabilities and grow toward greater project ownership.

What you’ll do

• Execute defined technical tasks within PTC Windchill implementations under guidance

• Configure and support PTC Windchill environments and PLM modules

• Support system blueprinting and proof-of-concept activities

• Assist with data migration from legacy systems into PTC Windchill

• Participate in testing and validation to ensure configurations meet requirements

• Document technical specifications, configurations, and implementation details

• Support integrations between Windchill and external systems, including ERP, MES, and CPQ platforms

• Contribute to digital thread implementation initiatives

• Assist with Windchill Critical Patch updates and system maintenance

• Troubleshoot basic Windchill configuration and implementation issues

What you’ll bring

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

• Previous hands-on experience working with PLM systems, with experience in PTC Windchill required

• Experience supporting PLM implementations, configurations, deployments, or related technical activities

• Working knowledge of PLM concepts, processes, and system functionality

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to apply technical knowledge in customer and implementation environments

Preferred:

• Experience with Windchill configuration, data migration, integrations, or system administration

• Experience with additional PTC technologies or PLM modules

• CAD experience

• Exposure to ERP, MES, CPQ, or other enterprise system integrations

Work setup

• Remote-first role with a professional home workspace required
