Playroom Attendant

We are seeking a responsible and energetic Part-Time Playroom Attendant to provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children while their parents or guardians are utilizing our facilities. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about working with children, ensuring their safety, and engaging them in age-appropriate activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor children in the playroom at all times.

• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

• Organize and facilitate games, crafts, and play activities appropriate for various age groups (typically ages 6 months to 10 years).

• Maintain accurate sign-in/sign-out records. 

• Communicate clearly and professionally with parents/guardians about their child’s experience or any issues.

• Clean toys, surfaces, and play equipment regularly according to safety protocols.

• Enforce facility rules and policies consistently and fairly.

• Report any incidents, accidents, or concerns to the supervisor promptly.

• Support the general operation of the facility, including light administrative or maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age:15 years old.

• Prior experience working with children in a professional or volunteer setting preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain calm and patient in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

• Indoor playroom environment.

• Shifts are Monday through Friday 8:30-1 and 4-8pm

• Weekends Saturday and Sunday mornings 8:30-2pm

• Open Available Shifts:
• Monday mornings 8:30-1
• Tuesday mornings 8:30-1
• Wednesday mornings 8:30-1
• Thursday nights 4-8
• Saturday mornings 8:30-2pm
• (Must be able to do 2 or more)

• Weekend availability for birthday parties or kid's nights. 

• Interaction with children, parents, and other staff on a regular basis.
