Player Assistant

Monarch Beach Golf Links, located in Dana Point, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Player Assistant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay Rate: $16.90 - $17.90 per hour (Depending on Experience) 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a strong work ethic 
• Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public 
• Must have strong customer/guest orientation
• Must be dependable
• Knowledge about the game of golf highly preferred

 
Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain professional appearance 
• Responsible for maintaining a reasonable pace of play on the golf courses 
• Communicate and assist the Pro Shop in keeping an accurate pace of play 
• Communicate with Starter and Pro Shop about any pace of play concerns 
• Monitor course cleanliness 
• Assist Outside Staff Attendants as needed 
• Advises guests of course conditions, expected pace of play, local rules and other golf related issues 
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management 
• Perform other duties as assigned
