Planner II, Parts Supply

Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: Anaheim - ANAHEIM, CA, Salary Range: $65218.00 - $81523.00Salary/year, Job Shift: Day/1st Shift, JOB SUMMARY:

Acts as focal point for all daily inter-organizational activities related to service parts inventory control. Maintains optimum inventory levels of service parts and accessories to satisfy all dealer body demands for all sales entities (INAC, ICTA, ISZA, GM, UD, and others).  Responsible for maintaining a target service level to customers while maintaining optimum inventory levels/months of supply.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reviews, analyzes, and maintains optimum inventory levels of groups of parts using all available tools, i.e., SPM, SAP, SAS, and various system generated warning and maintenance reports. Identifies parts which require special analysis.
Performs special analysis of specific parts or groups of parts as requested by AIPDN management.
Coordinates necessary supplier follow-up for status requests, expedite requests, and any other supply related issues.  Provides detailed background and ETA status as requested by AIPDN staff (management or others).
Performs stock adjustments, scraps, or other inventory transactions as requested, within two days of receipt.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Reports to:  Supervisor, Parts Supply Planning
No direct reports

Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:

Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business related disciplines or equivalent directly related work experience
Proven total competency in the execution of duties and responsibilities as a Parts Supply Planner I and a minimum of one to two years in the position
Experience involving detailed analysis and/or parts forecasting
Experience with SPM or similar planning software preferred

KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of parts inventory control, forecasting, and distribution principles

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to analyze and interpret statistical demand patterns and supply rules

PHYSICAL STANDARDS:

The employee must be able to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer.  This is primarily a sedentary position in a controlled office environment which requires only occasional reaching, stooping, and lifting of office files, reports or records, typically weighing 5 lbs. or less.

PAY SCALE:

The pay scale for this position is between $65,218 and $81,523. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Any offer made to the selected candidate that falls below the California exempt baseline of $70,304 will be classified as non-exempt.
