Our internship program is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience, collaborate with seasoned professionals, and contribute to projects that shape communities. 

We are open to Co-op Students this spring for this position, or students who may be looking to complete rotations in other blocks

Spring session - January 11th- May 15th 

Summer sessions: May 18th - August 6th

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome students with a focus on, Architecture, urban planning, Landscape architecture, and related fields—who are:

• Curious, motivated, and eager to learn.

• Excited to bring their ideas to the table.

• Ready to embrace teamwork and new challenges.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service both in-person and over the phone
• Draft narrative and illustrative content for plans and reports
• Assist in the coordination of certain permits, including: Land Disturbance Permits, Plats, Zoning-Related Applications & Fence Permits. 
• Manages pre-application meetings for planning and zoning-related applications, including pre-review of all submittals, note-taking and follow-up correspondence with applicants or clients.
• Manages and updates all applications and forms, as needed.
• Creates zoning verification letters.
• Assembles notes/summary/minutes documents for meetings. 
• Completes business license reviews for compliance with zoning regulations. 
• Conducts research on planning and zoning-related matters.  
• Travel to other local offices and clients may be necessary.
