Pipe Welder- Mountain Pass, CA

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform pipe welds and repairs. 
• Set up, maintain, and break down welding equipment
• Reference blueprints and schematics to ensure component specifications 
• Maintain an orderly safe workplace

Qualifications and Physical Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding certificate or training preferred.
• 5+ years of welding experience preferred.
• High level of proficiency in MIG and TIG welding
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Ability to stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout shifts 
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity
• Must be able to pass the required weld test
• The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job without reasonable work accommodation

The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done.
