The Anderson School of Music is looking for a part-time piano and/or singing teacher for one to four days per week, weekday and weekend shifts available. We are looking for one or more people to join our school. Availability to sub on other days is a plus. This is a long-term position. We are looking for a minimum commitment of the 2026-2027 school year. Students range in age from 5 to high school, though that may change as your schedule grows.
Our ideal candidate is a piano teacher who can effectively communicate musicianship and technique to their students in a relatable, easy to understand way. You also have a firm grasp of vocal technique and know how to work with young voices. We will consider hiring two or more people to fill this role.
All lessons are taught in person at our well-equipped Los Gatos location. Punctuality and attendance are extremely important. Starting pay for a teacher with a music degree or equivalent experience is $42 per hour with a potential raise after a 30-day assessment period.
