Job Description:

Summary:

The Physics Admin Assistant assists front desk coverage, office organization, lab supply organization, advertising, and event management. They will form a part-time support role for the Department as a whole, under the supervision of the Senior Administrative Assistant, to improve Department operations and outreach. The Admin Assistant also supports laboratory research projects, such as the Gravitational and Thermal Noise Lab, as needed, and in alignment with their qualifications and research interests in Physics.

Essential Functions:

• Assist front desk coverage, office organization, lab supply organization, advertising, and event management.
• Improve Department operations and outreach.
• Support laboratory research projects, such as the Gravitational and Thermal Noise Lab.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Part-time.
• 5 hours per week.

Salary Range:

• $18.40 per hour.
