Philadelphia is a city of medical excellence, and Skilled Wound Care is looking for motivated physicians to lead the way in providing wound care to local Skilled Nursing Facilities. Whether you are an experienced attending looking for a change of pace or a physician seeking a new path outside the massive local hospital systems, we offer clinical autonomy without the academic red tape.
We are seeking Surgeons of all backgrounds, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine physicians to join our team serving the Philadelphia metro area.

Requirements
- Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Unrestricted/Clear Pennsylvania Medical License: (Or eligibility to obtain one).
- DEA License (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Open Background: We welcome physicians from various specialties, no previous wound care experience is required. Completed residency or Board Eligibility is preferred.

Our physicians round consistently at the same facilities, perform bedside procedures, manage pressure injuries, and work as partners with the nursing teams who know those patients best.
Founded in 2007, we now serve facilities nationwide. The model exists because the alternative, moving a patient out to a clinic for a wound that needs weekly attention, too often means the wound never gets treated at all.
For facilities: consistent physician rounding, fewer avoidable hospital transfers, stronger quality metrics, and real support for your nursing staff.
For physicians: hands-on medicine, no clinic, no overnight call, no quotas, and a life outside of work. We are hiring nationwide, including those who have Not Finished Residency. We also have our mentorship program for physicians who are new to wound care.
