The Opportunity

• Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologists.
• Current SC state license is a plus.
• Opportunity to do bread and butter heart cases without a fellowship; 50 heart cases per year.
• Must be CV experienced; TEE certified a bonus.
• Regional Contract covering 2 hospitals, cross covering of facilities rare and not required.
• Great group and outstanding team. CRNAs, AAs and MDs are collegial and supportive of one another.
• 2 weeks on 2 weeks off rotation, low acuity call every other while on.
• Call responsibilities: Overnight call every other for 2 weeks then 2 weeks off. 100%25 beeper call.
• Partial FTE’s welcome and supported.
• Great life balance to enjoy the beauty of the island.
• Lots of time off: 26 weeks per year!
• Professional Incorporation allowed; physicians paid as K1.

The Practice

Coastal Carolina Hospital – Hardeeville, South Carolina

• 41-bed hospital and Level IV trauma center.
• 9,000 annual case volume.
• Over 5,000 surgery cases per year; approximately 1,000 OB cases per year.
• Case mix includes general, outpatient, urology, regional, orthopedic, and some high risk OB and Endo.
• Vituity-staffed Emergency Department offers integrated care solutions at this site!

Estimated annual base compensation of $275,000 – $900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked. In addition, Vituity physicians participate in our partnership model from day one, which includes profit distributions, equity ownership, and K-1 tax advantages. Total compensation including partnership income varies by site and may significantly exceed the range shown.
