Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive medical care to patients. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting physical examinations, and assisting in surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various medical settings and possess excellent clinical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications and therapies
- Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring aseptic technique and patient safety
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and disease management strategies
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records
- Stay current with advancements in medical research, treatments, and technologies
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Physician Assistant in various medical settings
- Proficiency in using electronic health records systems
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments,
- Familiarity with coding procedures for accurate billing and reimbursement
- Experience working in a medical office setting, providing primary care services
- Basic life support certification
- Strong understanding of infection control practices and protocols
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
