Compensation & Benefits
- Average Annual Earnings: $220,000 – $250,000 (No earning cap as an Independent Contractor).
- High Achievers: Top performers earn $300,000+ via performance bonuses.
- Pay Structure: Per-patient and per-procedure pay + quarterly bonus programs.
- Expert Training: We bridge the gap between your current specialty and wound care with 36 hours of company-provided CME, workshops, and specialized training.
Requirements
- Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Unrestricted/Clear Maryland Medical License: (Or eligibility to obtain one).
- DEA License (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Open Background: We welcome Surgeons of all backgrounds, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine physicians. No previous wound care experience is required; we provide comprehensive specialty training.

Our physicians round consistently at the same facilities, perform bedside procedures, manage pressure injuries, and work as partners with the nursing teams who know those patients best.
Founded in 2007, we now serve facilities nationwide. The model exists because the alternative, moving a patient out to a clinic for a wound that needs weekly attention, too often means the wound never gets treated at all.
For facilities: consistent physician rounding, fewer avoidable hospital transfers, stronger quality metrics, and real support for your nursing staff.
For physicians: hands-on medicine, no clinic, no overnight call, no quotas, and a life outside of work. We are hiring nationwide, including those who have Not Finished Residency. We also have our mentorship program for physicians who are new to wound care.
