Physical Therapist - PRN

POSITION

Join our growing rehabilitation team as we launch a new Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.  We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based treatment services that support patients in achieving their highest level of independence and function.  The successful candidate will bring rehabilitation experience, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to care.  This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new program while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes..   

HOURS

This is a PRN position.  Hours will vary based on staffing needs and may include weekdays and occasional weekends.

Candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of accreditation standards and compliance requirements. They should exhibit strong proficiency in the principles, methods, materials and equipment utilized in physical therapy. The ability to comprehend and adhere to the instructions of the department manager, as well as established policies and procedures, is essential. Preferred qualifications include at least one year of experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.

EDUCATION

Applicants must be graduates of an accredited physical therapy program. They are required to hold a current state license, certification or registration with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts. A valid BLS certificate is required.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate plus a PRN differential. PRN employees are not eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, retirement or paid time off.
