Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide quality therapy services to patients in their homes under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility, balance, strength, and functional activities.
- Monitor patient response and progress during treatment.
- Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises, mobility, safety, and fall-prevention techniques.
- Report changes in patient condition or progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team.
- Provide professional, compassionate, and patient-centered care in the home setting.
PTA Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current and active Florida PTA license.
- CPR certification.
- AHCA Level II background screening.
- Home health experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Reliable transportation.
