Upsender is expanding its sales operation and is looking for a consultative sales professional to join our Phoenix team remotely.
This role is built for someone who knows how to lead a thoughtful business conversation, uncover what is limiting a prospect's growth, and recommend a solution based on genuine fit rather than pressure.
Upsender provides software and managed services designed to help established brands strengthen customer engagement, improve retention, reactivate existing audiences, optimize automation, and generate stronger revenue performance from the customer relationships they have already built.
The Sales Role
You will speak with business owners and marketing leaders, learn how their current growth systems are performing, identify problems and opportunities, and determine which Upsender solution best addresses their needs.
The position requires strong discovery skills and the ability to sell consultatively. Prospects may need our software platform, a more hands-on managed service, or a customized engagement. Your job is to understand the business first and then clearly explain the most appropriate path forward.
Your Responsibilities
Lead remote sales conversations by Zoom or phone
Ask strong discovery and diagnostic questions
Understand a prospect's products, current systems, customer engagement strategy, and revenue goals
Identify gaps involving engagement, segmentation, automation, retention, reactivation, or monetization
Recommend the appropriate Upsender solution based on the prospect's situation
Explain pricing and service options clearly and professionally
Handle questions and objections without relying on hype or unnecessary pressure
Ask for the sale when there is a legitimate fit
Follow up with qualified prospects who need additional time to make a decision
Maintain accurate pipeline notes and records
Share feedback that can improve the overall sales process
Submit recorded calls for coaching and review
Apply coaching and feedback to future conversations
Experience That Translates Well
We are interested in sales professionals with experience closing high-value solutions. Relevant backgrounds can include B2B services, software, marketing, consulting, business development, account executive roles, remote closing, or similar consultative sales environments.
You should be comfortable conducting remote sales calls, diagnosing business problems through discovery, presenting customized solutions, navigating objections, following up professionally, and working in a performance-driven environment with strong personal accountability.
