Phlebotomist – PRN / As Needed

We are seeking an experienced, reliable Phlebotomist to be available on an as-needed/occasional basis for blood draws in our medical office.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine venipuncture and blood collection per protocol
• Properly label and prepare specimens for laboratory pickup/processing
• Maintain a professional, comfortable experience for patients
• Follow standard safety and infection-control procedures

Schedule: PRN/as needed; ideal for someone looking for occasional supplemental work.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Phlebotomy certification 
• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist with difficult sticks
• Excellent technique - no miss
• Dependable/reliable
• Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods
• Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples

Compensation: $50 per call-in patient visit. This is a PRN/as-needed role with no guaranteed weekly hours. Typically you will be called to draw blood for one patient.
