Per Diem Phlebotomist - Albany, NY

Title:  Phlebotomist

Location: Boston IVF Albany

Schedule: Monday and Friday shifts are scheduled during one week each month. Additional requirements include a rotating Saturday and holiday schedule.

Boston IVF has a Per-Diem PHLEBOTOMIST position at our Albany, NY center. The schedule for this role includes drawing blood on 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform patient phlebotomy and specimen processing
• Processing samples to send to reference labs
• Responsible for pending results 
• Adhere to phlebotomy procedures and lab services manuals
• Adhere to requirements of Safety Procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of drawing area and stock supplies in phlebotomy lab
• Flu vaccination required

 Education and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ Experience 
• Certification is preferred but not a requirement
• Technical expertise along with good customer service is very important
• Attention to detail a must
