Hiring Range:

$61.34 - $160,763.20

(based on a full time schedule of 40 hours per week).

Please note that the final offer will vary based on scheduled hours. Compensation for part-time or reduced schedules will be prorated based on scheduled weekly hours, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Hospital Medicine team at Harrington Hospital. Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as your top choice in the region.

Key Highlights 

• Per Diem Schedule 

• Flexible schedule with 10 hour shifts, minimum shift commitment of 4 shifts per month 

• Collaborative, team-based model with Hospital Medicine Attendings and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

• No procedures required 

• Epic EMR and integrated clinical systems 
   

Responsibilities 

• Perform and document complete history and physical exams

• Develop diagnoses and treatment plans based on clinical evaluation 

• Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies 

• Participate in daily inpatient rounds and document progress notes 

• Collaborate with consulting services and interdisciplinary teams 

• Perform routine bedside procedures per delineation of privileges 
   

Qualifications:   

• A Masters degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program  

• Eligible or current Massachusetts license, with national certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, as applicable)  

• Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration are required.
