People Experience Lead – Hiring: Part-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a part-time People Experience Lead (PEL) to support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee documentation, and staffing initiatives across our McDonald’s restaurants.

This position partners with the Owner/Operator and General Managers to help attract great people, maintain organized employment processes, and create a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting efforts using McHire and other applicant tracking resources, including applicant follow-up and interview coordination.
• Partner with General Managers to identify current and future staffing needs.
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding and ensure required employment paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
• Maintain organized and confidential employee records.
• Complete and maintain separation and termination documentation.
• Build relationships with local hiring agencies, schools, and community organizations and assist with hiring events.
• Conduct periodic staffing reviews using PDW and/or similar resources.
• Support employee Listening Surveys and assist leadership with actionable follow-up.
• Monitor staffing, hiring, turnover, retention, and wage trends and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Support compliance with applicable McDonald’s People Standards and organizational people practices.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple restaurant priorities.
• Recruiting, HR, administrative, or restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• McDonald’s experience is a plus.

Schedule & Work Environment

This is a part-time position working in both office and restaurant environments. The schedule offers flexibility but may occasionally include evenings or weekends based on hiring and business needs.

Local travel between restaurant locations is required, with occasional travel for training or development opportunities.
