Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) – 1:1 Pediatric Home Care
Upper Saddle River, NJ | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM | $45/hour

 Affirmed Home Care is expanding our Pediatric Division and seeking a compassionate, skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for an 11-year-old girl in Upper Saddle River, NJ.
This is a consistent Monday–Friday position offering the opportunity to build a meaningful, long-term relationship with the child and family while providing individualized nursing support throughout the school day.
Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Location: Upper Saddle River, NJ
• Patient: 11-year-old girl
• Care: 1:1 pediatric nursing
• The RN will meet the child at the family’s home each morning and travel with the child to school
• The RN will remain with the child at school and provide nursing care and support throughout the school day
• Consistent weekday schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and individualized 1:1 pediatric nursing care
• Accompany the child from home to school and provide nursing support throughout the school day
• Monitor the child's condition and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
• Provide G-tube feedings and related care
• Monitor for and respond appropriately to respiratory complications
• Collaborate with the child's family and Affirmed Home Care's pediatric clinical leadership team
• Follow the established plan of care and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Communicate changes in the child's condition to the appropriate members of the care team

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN License in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Pediatric experience in home care, acute care, or a similar clinical setting preferred
• Hands-on experience with G-tube feedings
• Experience caring for pediatric patients with respiratory complications
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and provide attentive 1:1 care
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred

Required Health Documentation

• Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within the past year, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption
