Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Care Rehab team at Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a PRN position providing Day shift coverage with participation in a weekend and holiday coverage rotation. At least 3 shifts per month expected for Wolfson PRN Rehab Services team members.

The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will support the Acute Care Rehab team, evaluating and treating patients with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and medical diagnoses. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a pediatric acute care setting supporting a multidisciplinary team as well as experience with patient and family education.  

Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Acute Care Rehab Department, Job Responsibilities: 

• Evaluates and treats patients with neurological, orthopedic, and medical diagnoses.
• Extensive patient/family education.
• Works with multidisciplinary team care.
• In-services interdisciplinary team members and hospital staff

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy Required
• Licensed Occupational Therapist from FL Department of Health Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Required
