Pediatric LPN

Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 
Upper Saddle River, NJ | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM | $40/hour

 Affirmed Home Care is expanding our Pediatric Division and seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for an 11-year-old girl in Upper Saddle River, NJ.

This is a consistent Monday–Friday opportunity for an LPN who enjoys working closely with pediatric patients and families and providing attentive, individualized care in both the home and school environment.
Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Location: Upper Saddle River, NJ
• Patient: 11-year-old girl
• Pay: $40/hour
• Care Setting: 1:1 pediatric home and school-based care
• The LPN will meet the child at the family’s home each morning
• The LPN will travel with the child from home to school
• The LPN will remain with the child at school and provide nursing care throughout the school day
• Consistent weekday schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and individualized 1:1 pediatric nursing care
• Accompany the child from home to school and provide nursing support throughout the school day
• Provide G-tube feedings and related care
• Monitor the child for changes in condition and report concerns appropriately
• Recognize and respond appropriately to respiratory complications
• Follow the established plan of care and physician orders
• Collaborate with the child’s family and Affirmed Home Care’s pediatric clinical team
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
• Communicate changes in the child’s condition to the appropriate members of the care team
• Promote the child’s safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the school day

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey LPN License in good standing
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Experience in home care, school nursing, acute care, or a similar clinical setting preferred
• Hands-on experience with G-tube feedings
• Experience caring for pediatric patients with respiratory complications
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong communication and clinical observation skills
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient-centered
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the family and clinical team
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Required Health Documentation

• Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within the past year, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption
