Transport Refrigeration, Inc- Thermo King Dealer. | Full-Time | Day Shift (Monday–Friday)

Transport Refrigeration Inc. is a trusted leader in the transportation industry and Thermo King refrigeration solutions. We are looking for a Parts Lead to support our growing inventory and parts operations while assisting technicians and customers throughout the region.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Parts Management

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department
Process incoming stock and manage inventory levels 
Pick, distribute, and record parts used by technicians for service orders
Participate in annual physical inventory and ongoing cycle counts

Customer Support

Assist customers at the parts counter and over the phone
Process parts orders and provide excellent customer service
Act as cashier for C.O.D. sales (cash, check, credit/debit)

Shipping & Receiving

Load and unload trailers using forklifts
Support shipping operations by boxing parts, creating labels, and preparing shipments
Deliver parts to customers and vendors and pick up special orders as needed

Additional Duties

Submit warranty parts to manufacturers for reimbursement
Assemble A/C hoses, custom kits, and OEM product builds
Support day-to-day operations to ensure technicians have the parts they need

🧠 Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic math skills for pricing, orders, and warranty tracking
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform frequent standing, walking, and bending
Dependable, organized, and team-oriented

Preferred

1+ year of experience in parts, logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory control
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and the ability to learn internal systems
