Role Overview

Chartis is seeking a Partner, AI-Enabled Performance Transformation, to lead the development and implementation of AI- and analytics-enabled solutions that transform how healthcare organizations operate. This leader will help health systems rethink and redesign complex clinical, operational, and administrative workflows by embedding AI, advanced analytics, automation, and predictive capabilities into how work is performed and decisions are made.

We are looking for a leader who understands how to rethink healthcare workflows through an analytics and AI first approach and has a proven track record of applying these capabilities at scale to drive measurable results. The ideal candidate will combine strong functional healthcare expertise with demonstrated experience identifying high-value opportunities for AI and analytics, translating those opportunities into scalable solutions, and successfully embedding them into operational workflows.

Relevant areas of functional expertise may include enterprise capacity management and patient flow; CDI, care management, and utilization management; AP finance; shared services; supply chain; pharmacy; workforce; and other areas of healthcare performance improvement. Expertise across all areas is not required, but candidates should bring depth in one or more domains and a demonstrated track record of using AI, analytics, and automation to materially improve workflows, performance, and outcomes.

Partners are integral members of our firm’s leadership team providing leadership capital – both internally and externally – to sustain the firm’s rapid growth and ultimately allow it to have a greater impact on the healthcare system. Partners provide leadership across multiple dimensions – thought leadership, consulting engagement delivery, client service, business development, and cultural stewardship. As a member of the leadership team, a Partner is responsible for advancing the firm’s impact by leading the execution and delivery of large, complex consulting engagements, as well as expanding new and potential business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-enabled performance transformation engagements within Chartis’ Performance Transformation Line of Business, directing engagement teams, guiding strategic problem solving, and overseeing analyses, client deliverables, and implementation activities

• Identify high-value opportunities to apply AI, advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and automation to complex healthcare workflows and translate those opportunities into practical, scalable solutions

• Rethink and redesign clinical, operational, and administrative workflows through the lens of AI and analytics, moving beyond traditional process improvement to fundamentally change how work is performed and decisions are made

• In partnership with Chartis technology and AI teams, lead the development and implementation of AI- and analytics-enabled solutions within areas such as enterprise capacity and patient flow; CDI, care management, and utilization management; AP finance; shared services; supply chain; pharmacy; workforce; and other performance improvement domains

• Translate healthcare operational challenges into clear AI and analytics use cases, partnering with data science, AI, product, technology, and operational teams to move solutions from concept through implementation and adoption

• Define the business case and value proposition for AI-enabled transformation, connecting technology investments to measurable improvements in financial, operational, clinical, workforce, and patient outcomes

• Collaborate with LOB leadership to embed AI and analytics into existing workflows and operating models, ensuring solutions are adopted by end users and generate sustainable performance improvement rather than remaining standalone technology initiatives

• Develop and scale repeatable AI-enabled offerings and intellectual property that expand Chartis’ performance transformation capabilities and differentiate the firm in the market.

• Align clinical, financial, operational, and technology stakeholders around transformation priorities and help clients navigate the organizational and change-management implications of AI-enabled transformation

• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with existing and prospective clients, drawing upon healthcare knowledge and insights to surface opportunities within and beyond the scope of specific consulting engagements

• Support go-to-market strategy, business development, and thought leadership around AI-enabled healthcare transformation

• Embody the role of people leader by cultivating strong relationships with colleagues and mentoring and developing consulting professionals

• Help maintain a collaborative culture that attracts world-class, passionate, and mission-driven consultants

Qualifications and Desired Skills

• Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree is preferred

• 10–15+ years of experience across healthcare transformation, operations, analytics, technology, AI, or consulting, with significant experience serving healthcare provider organizations

• Demonstrated track record applying AI, advanced analytics, machine learning, predictive analytics, and/or automation to redesign healthcare workflows and drive measurable operational, financial, or clinical outcomes

• Experience moving AI and analytics beyond strategy or experimentation into implemented solutions embedded within healthcare workflows at meaningful scale.

• Strong functional expertise in one or more areas of healthcare performance transformation, which may include: Enterprise capacity management, patient flow, and care coordination, CDI, care management, and utilization management, AP finance and other financial or revenue-related operations, Shared services and administrative operations, Supply chain, Pharmacy, Workforce and labor optimization, and other clinical or operational performance improvement domains

• Ability to identify where AI and analytics can create the greatest value within a functional domain and translate operational problems into scalable, technology-enabled solutions

• Strong understanding of healthcare data, analytics, workflows, and operational systems, with sufficient technical fluency to effectively partner with AI, data science, product, and engineering teams

• Experience leading complex transformation initiatives within or on behalf of healthcare organizations, including workflow redesign, implementation, adoption, and change management

• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Certifications/Technologies

• Generative AI, LLMs, agentic AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, NLP, and intelligent automation

• Modern analytics and data platforms

• Healthcare EHR and ERP platforms

• Workflow automation and decision-support technologies

• Experience developing, deploying, or scaling AI-enabled healthcare solutions

Salary range: $250,000-$350,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
