A bit about us:
We are a close-knit, conscientious family with three small dogs. I’m a single Mom who adopted my amazing daughter; my parents live nearby in the same building and are enjoying their grandbaby. I enjoy taking my daughter to children’s museums and spending time with my friends. We value respectful communication, reliability, transparency, and a caregiver who takes pride in creating a calm, organized environment. As she begins daycare, we are looking for someone who can help make her afternoons feel warm, consistent, educational, and fun.

My 18-month-old daughter is curious, active, and full of personality. She has a sense of humor! She loves music, dancing, books, puzzles, our little dogs, and anything she can open and explore.

A bit about you:
You are patient, playful, proactive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with toddlers. You know how to engage a young child through reading, age-appropriate puzzles, music, movement, and educational play while also setting healthy, loving boundaries. You communicate openly, take accountability seriously, and understand how important dependable care is to a family. You are flexible enough to adapt as the child’s post-daycare routine develops and don’t mind shifting to household tasks when a grandparent spends time with her. You are comfortable with a parent working remotely from home, which will be either some or all of the time.

Job Duties:
Your afternoons will center on attentive toddler care, including play, reading, problem-solving activities, the child’s simple meal and snack prep, and supporting age-appropriate learning and development. You may occasionally help with daycare pickup, so a reliable personal vehicle and comfort driving are important even though regular driving is not currently required. Household support includes washing and folding laundry for the child and parent, putting away the child’s clothes, staying on top of dishes, cleaning up after food preparation, and taking out the garbage when needed. The family would also appreciate a caregiver who notices when household or child-related supplies are running low and communicates proactively. From time to time, the nanny may accompany the child for a short visit with a nearby grandparent and should be comfortable around three small family dogs who may come and go between units.

Qualifications:
5 years of nanny experience, including strong toddler experience, confident supporting an active 18-month-old through meals, play, transitions, and occasional pushback. Pediatric CPR certification is required or must be obtained, along with a clean driving record, a reliable personal vehicle, and a high level of comfort communicating in English. Candidates should be comfortable around small dogs, maintain excellent personal hygiene and be willing to work when the child is mildly ill.

Set yourself apart:
A background as a preschool teacher, advanced cooking skills, or especially strong knowledge of toddler development would be a wonderful bonus. The family would especially value someone who brings creative ideas for age-appropriate educational engagement and can make learning feel playful and natural.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (2 PM - 6 PM)
                   Starts ASAP!

Pay: $33–$38 per hour
