Part-Time Teacher, Extended Care (NE)(2026-2027)-St. John the Evangelist School, Severna Park MD

St. John the Evangelist School, located in Severna Park, MD, is seeking a part-time Extended Care Teacher. The Extended Care Teacher is responsible for the care and supervision of children before and after the school day. Primary responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in their care while also providing instructional and educational support as needed. Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Essential Functions

• Implement a program of instruction that adheres to the goals and objectives of the program.
• Make observations, collect data, and give input to Director.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding students, their families, and other employees.
• Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and school administration.

Position Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma and 90-hour child care certification.
• Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred.
• An appreciation for young students and their families.
• Willingness to support the mission of the Catholic Faith and the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools.

Pay Range:  $16.00 - $20.00, Hourly
