Part-Time Student Accounts Billing Specialist
Department: Office of Student Accounts
Reports To: Manager of the Office of Student Accounts

POSITION SUMMARY:
Liberty Christian Academy is seeking a detail-oriented and organized School Billing Specialist to manage student account billing, tuition payments, fees and extracurricular billing. This role is essential in ensuring accurate invoices, timely collections, and excellent customer service for families, staff and external partners.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of non-profit office experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
- Ability to multitask and prioritize needs based on OSA deadlines
- Born-again Christian who exemplifies Christian character
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following are the responsibilities of the Accounts and Billing Specialist in relation to:
SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP -
- Act as a spiritual leader of the school and community
- Show evidence of a consistent time of personal Bible study, prayer and outreach
- Maintain a Christ-like attitude
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Input tuition, fees and additional items for LCA and ELC students year-round to include schedule changes
- Validate discounts and apply multi-child and staff credits
- Reviewing weekly before & aftercare and bus rosters to include emergency uses
- Update student accounts from withdrawal submissions
- Respond to parent/guardian billing inquiries professionally and promptly
- Maintain accurate student records and accounts as LCA’s FACTS Specialist
- Review Problem Activity Report, OA&OE Report and contact families as needed
STUDENT ACCOUNTS RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Assist with front desk coverage when the receptionist is out.
- Answering phones and greeting visitors for the OSA and Superintendent’s Office
- Generating receipts and recording payments in Intacct and Facts
- Assist with special events, open houses, re-enrollment, etc.
- Assist with other OSA duties when needed
EVALUATION: The Billing Specialist will be evaluated by the Manager of the Office of Student Accounts each year. This evaluation will be based on the functions and responsibilities outlined in this job description.
