Looking for a part-time daytime job that keeps you active and gives you a consistent morning schedule? McGrath Chevrolet of Dubuque is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Part-Time Automotive Service Porter / Valet to support our busy service department.

With a 7:00 AM–1:00 PM schedule, this position is a great fit for someone looking for morning or daytime hours while keeping their afternoons and evenings available.

You don't need previous dealership experience. This role could be a great fit for someone with experience as a driver, shuttle driver, delivery driver, valet, porter, lot attendant, customer service representative, or other customer-facing position. We're looking for someone who is reliable, enjoys driving and interacting with people, and prefers an active job over sitting behind a desk all day.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently work the 7:00 AM–1:00 PM schedule
• Friendly and professional customer service skills
• Comfortable safely driving, parking, and maneuvering a variety of cars, trucks, and SUVs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Comfortable staying active throughout the shift
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Previous driving, valet, porter, lot attendant, shuttle, delivery, or customer service experience preferred, but not required

What You'll Do

• Greet service customers and provide a friendly, professional first impression
• Safely move, park, stage, and retrieve customer vehicles
• Shuttle customers to and from McGrath Chevrolet of Dubuque as needed
• Pick up and deliver customer vehicles for service appointments
• Assist Service Advisors and technicians with vehicle movement and service lane organization
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional service drive and vehicle staging area
• Support the service department with additional porter, valet, driving, and lot responsibilities as needed
