Position Summary
We are seeking a part-time Server to join our Dining team! The Server provides excellent table service in our Highlands dining venues, assists with catering events, and ensures a pleasant dining experience for residents and guests. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible hours in a friendly, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional food service and hospitality with courtesy and professionalism
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Assist with catering events and setup/cleanup as needed
- Follow safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with residents, guests, and team members
- Support dishwashing and kitchen operations when necessary
- Participate in required training, meetings, and safety drills
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or dining service is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person!
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to process information and make sound decisions
- Willingness to maintain a neat, professional appearance
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 30 lbs frequently (occasionally up to 50 lbs)
- Work in kitchen and dining environments with varying floor surfaces
- Slip-resistant shoes required
