Part Time Parts Driver

Job Details: Job Location: Mansfield - Mansfield, OH, Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00Hourly, Position Summary

Valley Freightliner of Mansfield is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Part-Time Parts Driver to join our team. The Parts Driver is responsible for delivering and picking up truck parts and related products for customers, vendors, and other company locations in a safe, timely, and professional manner. This position plays a key role in maintaining excellent customer service and supporting the daily operations of the Parts Department. A CDL is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver parts and supplies to customers and designated locations accurately and on schedule.
Pick up parts, returns, and other materials from vendors and customers as needed.
Verify delivery orders and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
Load and unload parts and materials safely and efficiently.
Maintain communication with the Parts Department regarding delivery schedules and customer needs.
Provide exceptional customer service during all customer interactions.
Ensure company vehicles are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
Assist with stocking, organizing, receiving, and inventory tasks within the Parts Department when not making deliveries.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, DOT regulations, and traffic laws.

Qualifications: Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Previous delivery, automotive parts, heavy-duty truck parts, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
Basic knowledge of commercial truck parts is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull parts weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to safely enter and exit delivery vehicles multiple times per day.
